Vern
Monnett – Petal Steel Guitarist
A Native of LaVerkin, Utah. A sought
after Guitarist and Steel Petal Guitarist. Vern has worked with some of
the greats. Toured and Recorded with Freddie Fender And "The Texas
Tornadoes" for five years. Vern is featured on the Texas Tornadoes
Grammy Nominated Album "4 Aces", on the Warner Brothers Label.
Vern also was a member of the Meisner, Rich, Swan Project. This band
includes former Eagles and Poco founding member Randy Meisner "Take
it to the Limit", Memphis Legend Billy Swan, and Allen Rich (son of
Charlie Rich). Vern’s own rock band "Enertia", Toured Europe
opening shows for Black Sabbath. He also has opened shows for Steppenwolf,
Eddie Raven and Michael Martin Murphy. In 1997 and 1998 Vern toured with
Gary Allen. Gary’s top ten hits were "Her Man" In 1996, and
"It would beYou" in 1998. Vern also worked with the Legendary
Wynn Stewart.
